Please tell me I’m not the only person who can’t believe that the president of MPOW actually used the term “fixing to” in a mass-distributed e-mail. Did I mention that I work for an institution of higher learning as well? God help us all.

No kidding. You’d think he’d know that the proper spelling of that phrase is “fixin’ too”.
Duh.
The one that bothers me is the improper use of the word “of”. Like “I could of killed him.”
