The Cast is OFF!

October 12th, 2006 by Catazon

I’m learning how to walk again. It’s very frustrating when your brain knows what to do, but you put your foot down and it doesn’t do what you’re telling it to do. The doctor trusted me to do this without therapy and without a walking boot. I didn’t want to be stuck in something like that for four more weeks, so that was great news, even though the next few days are going to be tough without it. I would like to get rid of the crutches by Monday, but realistically, I’ll be happy with next Friday, just in time for the girls’ weekend of debauchery. This ankle

is going to look so good with this costume.

harhar…I took the pics before the long soak, but the doc said not to scrub to avoid irritation. It was killing me not to! I’ve just about had it with being a good patient.

  3. Jule B. Sorry Says:

But did you shave your leg?

  4. Catazon Says:

NOT YET! That is just too gross to get rid of so soon! Everyone should enjoy it for a couple of days. Damn, I have to go to a wedding tomorrow night…guess I’ll shave in the morning.

  5. Shalena Says:

Can’t wait!!!!!!!!!! Next Weekend is gonna be a blast…….Be ready to drink some alchohol………:)

Did you pick a costume yet?

    See you soon!

Colleen already told me that when she hurt her knee and couldn’t walk, she went out partying anyway, and by the end of the night, she could walk just fine. She thinks I’ll be fine too after a few drinks. Let’s see…a week into walking and alcohol…sounds like a winning combination.

I always post different things here and on my other blog, catazonia.com. That’s where I posted my costume choice, the sexy paramedic with the ugly foot. HA!

  7. Shelly Says:

okay yea that is kind of gross but glad to see the cast is over so you can start to recover!!! Looks like it hurts!

  8. Charla Says:

That is pretty!! How did it smell?

  9. Catazon Says:

Surprisingly, it did not stink, but you can come check if you want. hehheh

  10. Tawdry Hepburn Says:

    can i lick that?

  11. Susan Says:

Hope it is better by now __ can you walk on it without pain yet?

  12. Sara Says:

Haha….I sure hope that you can hobble around Ziegfest….If not, I’ll cary you around once I get drunk!

  13. Jenny Says:

You’ll look so hot no one will even notice the foot. They might notice the fact that you’re unable to walk properly though. I suggest carrying around a half-empty mug of whiskey. People will just assume your drunk.

  14. Cap'n Jack Says:

Looks like a FrankenFoot. It looks a lot better than I expected. After it happened, I figured u would have ur foot dangling by a thread. Glad ur back in business, just dont try running around naked after getting drunk. I think Crispix has that covered.

  15. Catazon Says:

Oh, I’ve got that covered…it’s a open bar party! Corral Club does it right. So yeah, I’m usually drunk at these things anyway. Don’t worry…I’m responsible, too.

  16. Chrissy Says:

Can I just say I am positively tickled to know that THE Catazon deigns to read my blog? I saw you skate in July with the Houston Roller Derby, and was crushed to see you with a broken leg at the championship bout. Glad to see the cast is off, and even gladder to have a new blog to read.

  17. Catazon Says:

Aww, shucks. Glad you got to see the July bout…those were the glory days, even if I did get booed. More than once.
